A hands-on workshop on how a child’s brain understands the world around them according to groupings & patterns – the bases for more advanced math skills.

B2. Anger in Children :: Patricia Morgan This session will assist you in understanding and better assisting children in managing and appropriately expressing their feelings of anger.

B3. Meeting the Needs of all Children in an Inclusive Setting :: Helen Kromm & Angie Bricker, CARE Centre (Part 1 of 2)
Discussion on how Children’s CARE Services can help you support children’s developmental challenges and how to access these services.

B4. Food for Life, Food for Thought :: Zahra Foroud
Food discussed from a healthy perspective and also from an educational, social, cultural and authentic point of view. Handy tips for lunch boxes and some ideas on how to make eating a pleasant experience among children and care givers.

(Part 2 of 2)

C4. Picky Eating Class :: Tammy Kesthely & Heather Roseke :: CARE
This class focuses on mealtime struggles and strategies for developing a healthy feeding relationship.

C5. Putting Philosophy into Practice :: Jenna Carlson & Dwan Bannink
Learn about the only demonstration program of its kind in North America. The Parent Preschool Program is an integration on Early Childhood Teaching and meeting the needs of our rural communities for quality programs.
